My journey in classical percussion has been significantly shaped by the invaluable mentorship of Charles Kalajian, instilling not only technical excellence but also profound life lessons. Though starting on drum set at age nine, during my high school years, I had the privilege of contributing my percussive talents to the renowned Boston Youth Symphonies. This experience provided a unique window into the world of orchestral performance, where I gained insights into ensemble dynamics, precision, and the art of musical expression. My commitment to musical education culminated in the recent completion of my Bachelor's of Music in Percussion at Rhode Island College. Armed with this solid foundation and a deep passion for teaching, I am enthusiastic about inspiring the next generation of percussionists and nurturing a genuine love for rhythm and music. As a percussion teacher, my goal is to foster not only technical prowess but also a profound appreciation for the creativity and artistry inherent in percussion. I'm excited to share my knowledge and experiences, guiding students on their transformative musical journeys.
