Collin Klampert
Collin Klampert is a versatile and accomplished professional musician and teacher, who is fluent in a wide array of musical styles. He has been immersed in music since the age of three, possessing a natural talent for perceiving and interpreting music in a uniquely profound way. He is quickly becoming a well-established and sought-after musician, carving out his space in the world of music with a promising future ahead. In addition to his role as staff music instructor at Newport Music, Collin has served as a clinician and master class teacher in local schools, where he conducts classes on musicianship, technique, and theory. Proficient in guitar, bass, ukulele, clarinet, and saxophone, he also leads and instructs school bands. Collin brings creativity, patience, and passion to the teaching environment, fostering musical growth and excellence in his students. As a performer, Collin has played with multiple bands, ensembles, orchestras, and jazz combos, including multiple sets at the prestigious Newport Jazz Festival. His achievements include being a RIMEA All-State musician on clarinet for six years and on guitar for three years. Currently, he is a Jazz Performance major at the University of Rhode Island, where he won music freshman of the year and consistently made the Dean's List.
